Bobby was the husband of Dora Ann Presnell Guy, and the son of Joseph and Lillie Blankin Guy. He was first married to the late Iris Guy. He was retired from the U.S. Army having served in Korea and Vietnam. He also was retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Bobby J. Guy Jr. and John Michael Guy, two daughters Nancy Miller and Kemberly Ramirez and two step-daughters, Brenda Marler and Melinda Rogers, three brothers, Robert, Bruce and Larry Guy, also three sisters, Betty Lawson, Mabel Hughes, and Linda Gibson. Eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son David A. Guy, and a brother James Guy.
