FRANK N. BORDO, 95, of Newtown Avenue, died Thursday at South County Hospital, South Kingstown. He was the beloved husband of the late Harriet O. (Barker) Bordo.

Born in Putnam, CT, a son of the late Oveler and M. Josephine (Gallian) Bordo, he had lived in North Kingstown since 1945.

Mr. Bordo was the first letter carrier in Wickford, and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 29 years, retiring in 1972. He was a Certified Lay Minister for the American Baptist Churches of Rhode Island, and a member of the Odd Fellows, Rhode Island Shriners, and Washington Lodge #5 F.& A.M. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wickford.

He was survived by two daughters, the grandfather of three and great grandfather of six. He was the brother of the late Amedee Bordo and Donalda Sears.

His funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church in Wickford Village. Burial followed in the Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown.
