Clarence E. "C.E." Jackson Jr., 77, husband of Josie Best Jackson, died Monday, December 25, in a local nursing facility.
Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Clarence E. Jackson Sr. and the late Matie Lee Jackson. He was a member of St. Andrew Church of God, spent most of his career in farming and had retired from the South Carolina Department of Highways and Pubic Transportation.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Jackson and Buddy Jackson.
