Linda C. Hornsby

Mrs. Linda Carol Hollins Hornsby, 31 of Shady Spring, died Friday Sept 21 1990 in a Beckley Hospital.

Born March 7 1959 in Cook County, Illinois she was the daughter of Virginia Jarrell Hollins of Irish Mountain and the late Carl Hollins.

Mrs Hornsby was a homemaker and was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Beckley.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Vicky Lynn Hollins. Survivors include her husband Tex Hornsby at home, two sons , Christopher and Aaron Hornsbby, both at home, a daughter Amanda Hornsby at home, a brother Joseph Carl (Terry)Hollins of irish Mountain; four sisters, Brenda Anderson and Tina Hornsby, both of Coolson Ridge , Loretta Meadows of Irish Mountain,and Carla Hill of Raleigh ; 38 Nieces and newphews and a host of family and friends.

Services will be Tuesday at 1p.m. at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley with Rev. Oppie Lilly officiating. Burial will be in the McVey Cemetary at Sullivan.

Friends may call today after 5p.m. at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley.

Pallbearers will be Mike Radford, Rodney White, George Morris, Donald Cook, Dennis Persinger and Ronald England.
