Anastatia Croke was born in Newton, Dunkitt Providence, county of Kilkenny, Ireland on 13 June, 1869. Her parents were Patrick Croke and Ann Connally Croke. She was the fourth of five children, and the only daughter. She married Martin James Kiely on 8 June, 1893, in Providence, Rhode Island. Martin died 17 August, 1894, and their son, Martin, was born two weeks later. Anastatia married Thomas Andrew Towey 4 January, 1900. Their five children were Anastasia, Hubert, Mary, Elizabeth, and Margaret. She died 18 February, 1935.
