Theresa J. Knipp, 78, of 5310 County Trunk CR, Manitowoc, died Tuesday night at North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
The former Theresa J. Zych was born Sept. 12, 1904, in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Stephen and Mathelda Mella Zych. She attended Manitowoc County schools and Manitowoc Business College.
On June 18, 1923, she married Andrew Knipp at St. Casimire {sic} Catholic Church, Northeim. He died in January 1965.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Eleanor M. Knipp, of Glenbeulah; a brother, Alex Zych; and a sister, Miss Frances Zych, both of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Casimire Catholic Church, preceded by family rites at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Charles W. Macco, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be held there at 8:15 p.m. Friday.
