Leonard F. Mella, 60, of 1234 S. 21st St., Manitowoc, died Late Sunday evening, October 10, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim. The Rev. Charles Mocco will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Mella was born March 29, 1922, in the Town of Newton, Manitowoc County, son of the late Frances and Mathilda Ziarnik Mella.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Katherine Mella of Manitowoc, and Gary and Theresa Mella of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Charles Schmidt of Brillion; seven sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Rose) Tadych, Mrs. Martha Mallman, Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Bast, Miss Cecelia Mella and Mrs. Frank (Agnes) Greskowiak of Manitowoc, Mrs. Jerome (Phyllis) Wojta of Two Creeks and Mrs. Norbert (Rita) Pritzl of Cato and two grandchildren, Wendy and Koren.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. A prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
