(July 18,1950 - April 20,2014)

Jean Sophie (Kraemer) Amrhein,age
63 of Chaska,MN. died Sunday,April
20,2014 at her home,surrounded by
her loving family.

Memorial Service will be held Friday,
April 25,2014 at 11AM at Trinity
Lutheran Church,417 Oak Street North,
Carver,MN.with Rev. Jon Niebuhr
officiating.The family will receive
friends Thursday,April 24,4-8PM at
Bertas Funeral Home,200 West Third
Street,Chaska,and also one hour
prior ro service at the church.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert
Kraemer,David Swanson and Joel Stender.
The inurnment will be at Mount Hope
Cemetery,Carver,MN.

Jean was born July 18,1950 in Minn-
eapolis,MN. to Elmer and Gladys (Harms)
Kraemer,one of eight children.She was
baptized on August 6,1950 by Pastor
Panning and confirmed on March 22,1964
by Pastor Esch at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Carver,MN.She attended Carver Elementary
School and graduated from Chaska High
School in 1968.On September 29,1973,Jean
married Charlie Amrhein at Trinity Lutheran
Church.They had three children.She was
employed at District #112 School as a cook,
Butch's Restaurant in Chaska,and also at
lions Tap Restaurant for 12 years.She
thoroughly loved playing and coaching
softball.She competed in the Midified
Fastpitch Softball National Tournament,
and played and coached slowpitch softball
games on many levels.She also competed
in several National Bowling Trips over
the years.She was an avid Carver Black Sox
fan,serving as the current Vice President,
and also an avid Minnesota Twins fan.She
was a loyal dance mom,loved her family and
grandchildren,and also camping and cooking.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents,
brothers,Richard,Robert,John and Donald
"Butz" Kraemer,sisters,Beverly Swanson and
Bonie Kraemer.

Survivors include her loving husband,Charlie
Amrhein;children,Bob (Mary) Amrhein of
Waconia,Jenny (Tony) Nyen of Carver
and Rick (Corinne )Amrhein of Waconia.
Grandchildren,Owen and Molly Amrhein,
Bode and Tatumn Nyen and Rhett Amrhein.
Brother and sister-in-law,Randy (Vicky)
Kraemer of Carver,Ev Briese of Shakopee,
Pinky Kraemer of Young America;brother-
in-law,Doug Swanson of Carver;many nieces
and nephews,other relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements were with the Bertas
Funeral Home and Cremation Services of
Chaska,MN.
