Married (1) Sam Cole m. 1948, div. 1960, one son; (2) Eugene F. Williamson m. 1973 after a long relationship, one daughter, widowed; (3) Andrew W. Mangum m. after 1995, widowed.

Sisters Elizabeth "Lib" Owen Sweet and Annie Owen Lail are buried in the same plot.

Survived by two children, three grandsons, and three great-grandchildren.
