Ray Earl Keller, 58, of Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Terre Haute, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002. He was a company supervisor for Sarasota Builders and Re-modelers Inc. He was born July 13, 1944 in Portland, to Earnest L. Keller and F. Deloris Strauss Keller.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Ellen Stoltz Keller; his parents; one daughter, Paige Keller Patterson; four sons, Bradley Keller, Brian A. Keller, Daniel R. Keller and Andrew D. Keller; two sisters, Rhea L. Keller Fox and Ramona J. Keller Rariden; three grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Rosemary Sitzman; and other in-laws.

He received his bachelor of science degree in music education in 1965, and his masters of science degree in music education in 1966, both from Indiana State University. He was a music instructor at Gerstmeyer High School, Garfield High School and Terre Haute North Vigo High School, and was a bassoonist with the Terre Haute Symphony. He also was a new car sales manager for Sycamore Chevrolet. He was of the Methodist faith. Memorial services are Sept. 21, 2002, in Turtle Beach, Fla. Sarasota Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory assisted with arrangements.
