Joann M. Minniear, 83, of Logansport formerly of Royal Center passed away at 4:30 a.m., Saturday, December 26, 2015 at her residence.

Born on June 14, 1932 in Brookston, she was the daughter of the late Edwin S. and Helen M. (Martin) Lank. On January 22, 1954 she married Bazzle Clyde Minniear. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1997.

Joann formerly worked at the Bob O Link in Royal Center and Amber’s Restaurant in Logansport. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, ceramics, fishing and camping in her younger years.

Survivors include her children, Debra L. Rush (William) of Logansport, Cathy J. Snyder (Thomas) of Huntington, Carol Keiser of Logansport, Clyde Minniear (Kimberly) of Carmel and Melissa Anders (Anthony) of Twelve Mile, sisters, Phyllis, Carolyn, Dee and Mary and brothers, Wayne and Sonny. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by son, Donald Eugene Minniear, sister, Pat Martin and 8 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Ryan Lewellen officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.
