"Martin M. Brandle passed away at Saginaw General Hospital Friday evening, April 9, 1976. Age 65 years. He was born March 23, 1911 in Germany, coming to Saginaw as a child. He married Miss Helen Karkowsky on Dec. 26, 1931. She survives him. He had been employed by Saginaw Steering Gear Co. Plant #2 for 38 years, retiring 6 years ago. He attended SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local No. 699. Surviving besides his wife, are two brothers and one sister; Joseph Brandle, of Cadillac, MI; George Brandle, of Saginaw, and Mrs. Mary Andrews, of Cheboygan, MI; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place at 9 a.m. Monday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams Street, and at 9:30 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Floyd Welna will officiate, with burial in the St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Case Chapel after 2 p.m. Sunday, where friends and relatives will meet at 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a Prayer Service."
