Roger E. Berglin {sic}, 22, formerly of Rt. 1, Denmark, presently residing at River Falls, Wis., died Friday evening as a result of an auto accident.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Gibson, Manitowoc County. The Rev. Percy Damrow will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bergelin was born May 1, 1947, at Manitowoc, son of Gerald and Arleen Schultz Bergelin. He was graduated from Mishicot Community High School and Wisconsin State University – River Falls. He was employed by Armour Co., Minneapolis, Minn., since June 1969.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bergelin, of Rt. 1, Denmark, two brothers, Richard and Don, both attending Stout State University, Menomonie, Wis., paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bergelin, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and maternal grandfather, Louis Schultz, of Rt. 1, Denmark.

Friends may call at the Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church.

Denmark Man Dies in Crash
Roger Bergelin in 1-Car Mishap


BALDWIN – Roger Bergelin, 22, of Rt. 1, Denmark, was killed at 12:35 a.m. Saturday in a one-car auto accident on I-94, 12 miles east of here and near River Falls.

According to a report received by Manitowoc County Traffic police, he hit a guard rail on a bridge.

Bergelin was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bergelin of Rt. 1, Denmark. He was employed by Armour Co. at St. Paul, Minn.

Funeral arrangements have been tentatively set for Tuesday, and will be announced Monday by Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark.
