Harry A. Bergelin, 83, of Route 1, Denmark, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 14, at a Manitowoc nursing home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Gibson. The Rev. Maurice Hoppe will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bergelin was born Sept. 28, 1899, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Albert and Louise Rahl Bergelin. He married Lena Stueck June 22, 1921, in the Town of Gibson. She preceded him in death Monday, Dec. 13, 1982.

Survivors include a son, Harold of Route 1, Denmark, a daughter, Mrs. Randall (Lila) Van Seggern of Route 1, Denmark; a brother, Arthur Bergelin of Chilton; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the church from 12 noon until the time of services.
