Mrs. Richard Dufek, 49, of Route 1, Denmark, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Sept. 2, at home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, Route 1, Mishicot. The Rev. Percy Damrow will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Dufek, nee Betty Jane Kline, was born Oct. 16, 1930, at Kewaunee, daughter of the late William and Margaret Robinson Kline. Following her marriage to Richard Dufek June 18, 1948, at Zanders, they lived in the Two Rivers area until moving to Cooperstown 19 years ago. She had been employed with Mirro Aluminum Company and Dufek Manufacturing Company at Denmark.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Richard at home; four daughters, Mrs. David (Lorraine) Volkma of Route 2, Maribel, Mrs. David (Bernadine) Robinson and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Weier of Route 1, Denmark, and Mrs. Donald (Kay Lynn) Robinson of Mishicot; two brothers, Clarence Kline of Manitowoc and Walter Kline of Two Rivers and a sister, Mrs. Henry Karl of Two Rivers. 10 grandchildren also survive. Her parents and a grandson preceded her in death.

Friends may call at DeWane Funeral Home, Denmark, after 3 p.m. Wednesday and at St. John Lutheran Church, Zanders, after 12 noon Thursday.
