MRS. EGGERT, GIBSON, DEAD
Was a Town of Gibson Resident Since 1880
Mrs. William Eggert, 80, resident of the Town of Gibson since 1880, died at 4 p.m.Tuesday at her home after suffering a stroke.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m., from the residence and at 1:30 at St. John'sLutheran church at Zander. The Rev. Mr. Grundeman will officiate and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Eggert was born April 28, 1852 in Germany and came to this country in 1872 the same year in which she was married to Mr. Eggert. Her maiden name was Johanna Schultz. They took up their home on a farm in Gibson in 1880. Mr. Eggert died 15 years ago.
The survivors are ten children, Mrs. Herman Beske, Appleton; Mrs. Fred Kersten, Tigerton; Mrs. Herman Harm, Appleton; Rudolph and Julius, Gibson; Ernst, John and William, Appleton; Gustave, Harvard, Ill.; and the Rev. Paul Eggert, Abrams, Wis. She also leaves two brothers, Julius Schultz of Manitowoc and Gustave of Tigerton and one sister, Mrs. Henry Antholz, Rockwood.
