Paul Eggert, 65, of Rt. 1, Denmark, longtime pheasant farm operator in the Town of Gibson, died Thursday afternoon at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient three months.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Gibson, the Rev. Percy Damrow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Eggert was born April 12, 1906, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Rudolph and Augusta Goertz Eggert. He attended District School No. 3 of Zander township. He was a member of the Denmark Sportsman's Club and never married.

Surviving are a brother, Erwin, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and a nephew, Wayne Eggert, of Memphis, Tenn.

Friends may call at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. The casket will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Monday where the body will lie in state until the time of service.
