Mrs. Albert Habeck, one of the oldest residents of Manitowoc county, a pioneer settler of the town of Gibson, died at the home of her son William Habeck in Gisbon Sunday night, aged 85 years. The funeral will probably be held on Thursday.
Mrs. Habeck was born at Saxonburg, Germany, June 2, 1838 and had been a resident here for many years. Since the death of her husband years ago, she had made her home with her son who with one daughter, Mrs. Charles Markwardt, this city are the only survivors of the family.
The death of Mrs. Habeck was due to infirmities of age.
