Edward M. Havlovitz, 72, of 1468 Harvey St., Green Bay, former Town of Gibson resident, died Wednesday, May 28, at a Green Bay hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Gibson. The Rev. Percy Damrow will officiate and burial will be in church cemetery.

Mr. Havlovitz was born Jan. 6, *0, {sic} 1908, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Matthew and Elizabeth Cizek Havlovitz. He farmed in the Town of Gibson and also worked at the Mirro Aluminum Company in Two Rivers until retiring seven years ago. He married the former Beatrice Nelson, Nov. 16, 1932. She preceded him in death July 26, 1962. He then married the former Hildegard Scheer, Sept. 7, 1963.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Edward D. of Green Bay and Kenneth M. of Manitowoc; a stepson, Warren Scheer of Fond du Lac; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Dona) Olsen of Green Bay; two brothers, James of Denmark and Emil of Route 1, Mishicot; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Hoge, Mrs. Julia Pech, Mrs. Lillian Ruzek, Mrs. Viola Luedtke and Mrs. Evelyn Fogeltanz all of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, three great grandchildren. A grandchild preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 3 o'clock this Thursday afternoon and after 12 noon Friday at the church till the time of services.
