Robert A. Klug

Robert A. Klug, 52, a Cooperstown resident, passed away Thursday afternoon, Feb. 27, 1997, at his home following a courage battle with cancer. The son of Marvin and Elnora (Wendt) Klug was born on August 5, 1944 in Green Bay. Robert had worked for Paragon Electric in Two Rivers for 31 years. Robert and the former Jean Ann Lemke were married on Sept. 7, 1996 in Florida. He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gibson.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Ann; two children, Melissa Klug and Nickolas Klug; his parents, Marvin and Elnora Klug, Brillion; a brother, Don and Sandy Klug, Coleman; two sisters, Mary Ann and Gary Hagenow, Greenleaf; Leanne and Gary Radtke, Neenah; nieces; nephews and many special friends.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Sunday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Gibson until the time of service. Funeral service 5 p.m. Sunday at the church with Pastor Maurice Hoppe officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds for St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church of Manitowoc Lutheran High school have been established. The Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home of Denmark is assisting the family.

The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of Unity Hospice of Green Bay for their wonderful care.
