Mrs. Fred Riemer, 73, of Route 1, Mishicot, died early Tuesday morning in Family Heritage Nursing Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Gibson. The Rev. Percy Damrow will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Riemer, nee Adela Bergelin, was born April 24, 1905, in the Town of Gibson, daughter of the late Albert and Louise Rohl Bergelin. She was married to Fred Riemer June 3, 1925, in St. John Church. He preceded her in death in September of 1975. Mrs. Riemer was a lifetime member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society of the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (LaVerne) Bruckschen of Route 1, Mishicot; two brothers, Arthur Bergelin of Route 1, Hilbert and Harry Bergelin of Route 1, Denmark, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A brother and three sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call in Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, after 5 p.m. Wednesday and in the church from noon Thursday until the time of service.
