Notes from Two Rivers:
William Last, aged 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Last of Two Creeks, died on
Wednesday. His death is said to have been due to diabetes and he was sick
only a day. The day before his death he was about the farm as usual. The
young man is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Last, well known residents of Two
Creeks. The funeral was held on Saturday from St. John's Lutheran Church of
Two Creeks. Among those from outside who attended the funeral Mrs. Herman
Last and sons, Martin and Clarence of Rockford, Ill.

William the 19 year old son of John Last, died at his home here after
a very short illness caused by diabetes. The funeral was held Saturday
from the Lutheran church and the remains were taken to Mack's cemetery
for burial. He is survived by his father and one brother.

William Last, aged 19, passed away at the home of his father, John Last, Two
Creeks on December 16 Thursday morning. The cause of his death was diabetes.
Although he was in ill health a long time, he was up and around the day before
death came when he was compelled to take to his bed. The young man is survived
by his father and one brother, Walter. Deceased was born in the Town of Two
Creeks. His mother died six years ago. The funeral occurred Saturday afternoon,
Rev. Kirchner officiating.
