Mrs. John J. Mattek, 72, of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, Town of Two Creeks, died Tuesday morning at home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Creeks, the Rev. Roger Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Mach Cemetery, Town of Mishicot.

Mrs. Mattek, nee Celia Riha, was born in the Town of Carlton, Kewaunee County, Feb. 6, 1890, daughter of the late Wenzel and Mary Aulik Riha. She was married June 23, 1908, at Manitowoc to John Mattek. She was a member of the Dorcas Society of the Two Creeks church.

Besides her husband she leaves three sons, Earl of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, Floyd of Menasha and the Rev. John Mattek of Fond du Lac; a sister, Mrs. Ignatz Wojta Sr., of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 2 p.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Thursday when the casket will be taken to the church where the body will lie in state after 11 a.m. to the time of service.
