MRS BERGER DIES AT HOME
Funeral Services to Be Held at Kellnersville Thursday


Mrs. Jacob Berger, 80, mother of Anton Berger and a sister of A.G. Worel of this city, died late Monday at the homestead farm north of Rosecrans, in the town of Cooperstown. She had been in failing health for several months.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning from St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Kellnersville, with interment at Greenstreet.

The deceased, whose maiden name was Anna Worel, was born in Bohemia and came to this country in 1864 at an early age. She was married in Cooperstown in 1870 to Jacob Berger and they took up their home on a farm. For the last few years, Mrs. Berger and her husband lived a retired life on the farm which is now operated by two of the sons.

Survivors are the husband; four sons, Joseph and Emil on the home farm; Frank of Whitelaw; and Anton of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Cigler of Cato; Mrs. John Svetz of Stratford and Mrs. Frank Opichka of Wausau; two sisters, Mrs. Jerry Budliske of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Barbara Bitner of Grand Haven, Mich.; three brothers, Frank of Whitelaw; Albert of this city and John of New Buffalo, Mich.; and 34 grandchildren survive. The body was removed to the home this afternoon from the Husar and Wachal Funeral parlors at Kellnersville.
