JOSEF KUBS
(1859 - 1912)

Notes From Greenstreet:
On Sunday afternoon, the Angel of Death entered the home of Joseph Kubsh (sic) and took away the husband and father. He had been seriously ill for some time and his death was due to cancer of the stomach.

Mr. Kubsh is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Anna Zeman, and six children, Mrs. Albert Frelich of Stark, and five sons at home. Mr. Kubsh was born in Bohemia about fifty years ago. When about twelve years of age he came to this country with his parents. After his marriage twenty-years ago, he settled on a farm two miles west of Greenstreet, that has since been his home.

The remains were laid to rest in the St. Wencel's Catholic cemetery at Greenstreet on Tuesday. Rev. Cipin officiating. The heartfelt sympathy of the neighborhood is extended to the relatives of the deceased.
