Last Rites For Frank McCullough
Frank Eugene McCullough, 74, was born in Davis County, Iowa near Coatesville, Missouri on February 7, 1893, the son of Albert and Martha Kerby McCullough and departed this life from his home south of Booneville on July 5, 1967, of a heart attack.

He was united in marriage to Elzina Barr on march 27, 1915. They had celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary two years ago at the school house near their home.

Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his passing two children: Mrs. Harold (Coleen) Bailey of Adel and Jack McCullough of Cummings; two grandchildren, Gary Bailey and Shirley McCullough; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Archibald of Coatesville, Missouri; Mrs. Arminta Kerby of Moulton, Iowa; and Mrs. Elsie Horn of Centerville, Iowa; and one brother, John McCullough of Centerville. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, George and Arthur.

After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. McCullough farmed near Coatesville, Missouri for eleven years. Then moved to South Dakota where they farmed for ten years. They had lived near Booneville for the past thirty-one years.

Frank never joined a church, though in his younger years he attended the Holiness Church quite regularly in Coatesville. He was a member of the Badger Creek Conservation Club since he loved hunting and fishing. He was a hard worker and a good neighbor, always willing and ready to help others.

Services were held at Fisher Funeral Home in Van Meter Saturday, July 8, 10 a.m., with Rev. Elton Colemen, pastor of Booneville Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Booneville Cemetery.
