Ferdinand was one of three brothers that left Arnheim, Ohio in the late 1860's to the 1870's and came to Missouri. My 2nd GGF, Georg Jacob Arn (buried out at Forest Hills, #125728299), and my other 2nd great uncle, Cornelius Arn (buried in the Douglass Cemetery, #13410680), owned farms along Holmes Road from 95th, out to about 105th (site of the Mt. Moriah Mortuary). The 80 acres owned by Cornelius was on the west side of Holmes and the north side of 99th Street. Ferdinand, ended up in Wyandotte County for some reason. ~ by Howard Hayslett.
