Nance A. Sachs-Gerlach, a 41 year resident of Clinton Twp., Michigan, died peacefully Wednesday morning in her home at the age of 78 years.

Nance was born in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania on February 17, 1927, a daughter of the late Jerome and Dorothea (Peacock) McGarrity. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Sachs II in 1964. Nance wintered in Florida's Keys and later in Cape Hayes for over 30years. She loved gardening, starting new plants from seed, boating, dancing, golfing in her early years and was an avid race fan. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW auxhillaries. Nance was a lover of life and believed in living life to its fullest. She was blest with a great gift of gab and will be deeply missed by the many she has touched in her lifetime.

Nance is survived by her loving husband, Donald Gerlach, her devoted son and daughter -in-law, Edward and Lisa Sachs III, her loving sister, Diane (Ron) Knoble and grandchildren, Edward IV and Meagan Sachs.

Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Friday from 5pm till 9pm and Saturday from 1pm till 9pm.
Visitation will be held under the supervision of the Downing Funeral Home of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Bethlehem from 10am till time of Mass at 11am.
Burial will follow in Holy Savior Cemetery, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Memorials to the church, Masses or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
