Walter J. Evenson

Walter J. Evenson, 23, of 8813 Glen Flora Rd., Kiel, died Thurs., Oct. 5, 1995 from injuries sustained in a deer/vehicle accident.

He was born May 3, 1972 in Chilton, son of Roger and Dori Lavey Evenson. He was a 1990 graduate of Kiel High School. He was employed at Ristow Roofing, Kiel, for the past four years. He also was employed at Steinthal Valley Lodge for five years and at the Old Mill in Hayton, for approximately two years. He was a member of the Ant Hill Mob, Osman, where he served on the board of directors. He was also a member of the Manitowoc 4-H Club.

Survivors include his parents, Roger, Kiel and Dori, Manitowoc; a very special friend, Brandi Blum; maternal grandmother, Margaret Mills and friend, Arnold, Ocala, Fla.; one brother, Brian at home; two sisters, Dawn, Two Rivers and Jessica at home; special nephew Steven Ristow; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995 at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel, with the Rev. Arnold Ruddat, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Collins, officiating. Burial will be in Faith Lutheran West Cemetery, Valders. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sat., from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A memorial has been established in his name.
