James O. Wigen, age 46, of Marietta, Ga., died Wednesday, April 9, 1997, at his residence as a result of Diabetes.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 1997, at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. Rev. William Timm and Rev. Charles Kurtz will officiate with burial to follow at Valders West Cemetery.

He was born December 29, 1950, in Manitowoc, son of Orrin and Lucille Pederson Wigen. He was a 1969 graduate of Valders High School, a 1973 graduate of Luther College, Decorah, Iowa, and a 1983 graduate of the Institute of Paralegal Studies, New York City. Jim was employed as a fund raiser and lobbyist for Citizen Action Groups in many different cities. He was currently employed as a security consultant for Rollins Protective Services in Marietta, Ga. Jim was an avid reader and his interest was always on the world news and politics. He also enjoyed jogging and hiking.

Survivors include his parents, Orrin and Lucille Wigen, Valders; a brother, Robert Wigen, Milwaukee; aunts and uncles, Reiny and Lorraine Reindl, Manitowoc, Margie and Martin Geimer, Manitowoc, Marjorie John, Manitowoc, Carol Krull, Enumclaw,Wash.; a Godchild, Jenny Reindl Nowak, Milwaukee; cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
