Mrs. Nellie Halderson, 82 of Valders, lifelong resident of Manitow County, died Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, of a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be conducted 2pm Friday at the West Valders Lutheran Church, The Rev. A.B. Holland officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
Mrs. Halderson, the former Nellie Nelson, daughter of Tollef B. and Ingeborg Nelson was born in the town of Eaton on June 1, 1870. She married Harry halderson in 1899. He died three years ago. The couple lived on a farm near Valders until 10 years ago when they moved to the village.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Illa of Valders; a son, Norman of West Allis; and a brother, Edward Nelson of Collins.
