Olvin Skattebo, 82, of Route 1, Valders, died Thursday morning, Jan. 17, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders, and burial will be in Valders West Cemetery.

Mr. Skattebo was born June 25, 1897, in the Town of Liberty, son of the late Ole and Hilda Jome Skattebo. He attended Sunny Crest School and married Sophia Halderson Oct. 23, 1935. He had been employed with Christel's Implement, Valders, for many years and farmed in the Town of Liberty.

Survivors include his wife, five sons, Orrin and Orley of Route 1, Valders, Leo of Brillion, Leon of Two Rivers and Glenn of Brown Deer; four daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Helen) Schanke of Neenah, Mrs. Howard (Doris) Gauger of Route 2, Manitowoc, Mrs. Robert (Lois) Maurer of Route 1, Valders and Marie at home; a sister, Mrs. Lilly Anderson of Manitowoc, 35 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of service.
