Mrs. Ted (Alice) Skattebo, 70, of 4310 Delta St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Carl Peters will officiate with burial in Valders West Cemetery.

Mrs. Skattebo, nee Alice Sorenson, was born April 6, 1905, in the Town of Cato, daughter of the late Peter and Martha Gilbertson Sorenson. She attended Valders School and was a housewife. She was married to Ted Skattebo May 4, 1929. She was a member of Manitowoc Senior Citizens, Valders Homemakers and Faith Lutheran Church Womens Circles. She was also a volunteer for the Girl Scouts for many years.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Oley of Milwaukee and Earl of Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. James (May) Mahloch, of Milwaukee, Mrs. Donald (Liela) Kreney, of Mishicot and Mrs. Allen (Thelma) Cayemberg, of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Grace) Guetchow, of Two Rivers, Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy) Hecker, and Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Edwards, of Manitowoc, 20 grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday and at the church from noon until the time of service.
