OLVIN THOMPSON PASSES AWAY AT MAPEL CREST
Olvin Thompson, brother of Melvin Thompson, private aviation pilot for Governor Kohler, passed away on Tuesday at the Maple Crest sanitarium and will be buried on Saturday afternoon at Valders, with Rev. A. O. White officiating.
The deceased, who was about 40 years of age, was born in the town of Rockland and had been engaged in farming most of his life. He was a rancher at Bend, Oregon for thirteen years and returned to the county in 1923, and operated the Thompson Bros. farm since that time.
His father K.H. Thompson, a sister, Mrs. Alma Reinertson, at home and three brothers, Melvin of Kohler, Kenneth of Bend, Oregon and Thomas of Chicago survive.
