Born to Laura H Harrell and Vern W Davidson, her dad was a cotton buyer then became a rancher in DeKalb Texas. She attended Hockaday Womens College and for a short time she worked as a model for Neiman Marcus.

In Sept 1941, she married Roy B Skipper - at that time a young Captain in the Army Air Corps. Thru the years she supported his military career - following him around the world as he made his moves. She donated hundred's of hours as a volunteer: she was a Gray Lady for the Red Cross, a Girl Scout Leader then Board member, worked for various military Family Services, and a volunteer for many other endevors on military installations. The one thing all could say was she was a Lady and had a firey temper.

To her were born three children - a son and two daughters. She taught them manners that now-a-days many would think were old fashioned but were never misplaced. Supportive of all their activities and family - she will be missed by all.

Luckily before she passed she was able to see all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in a family reunion held just weeks before her death.

A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother - she will be missed.
