Louise Bernice Green Allen, age 74, of Blairsville, GA passed away Monday, January 4, 2015 in the Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA. She was born on May 21, 1941 in Fannin County, GA. She was a member of Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husbands, James Robert Allen and Thomas Verlin "Boots" Green; her parents, Virgil and Fannie Cornwell Patterson; two brothers, Havern Patterson and Avery Patterson; sisters, Hazel Cordell, Mazie Payne, Martha Nell Jones, Lassie Allen, and Ruth Dotson; two grandchildren, Laura Davenport and Eric Green.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Max Curtis and Rev. Danny Kaylor officiating. Music will be by Tammy Kaylor and Russell Hughes.
Interment will follow in Welcome Hill #2 Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Fair officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m.
