Samuel Clothier Brown, farmer, born August 19, 1871 in Maryland and died Jan 3, 1932 in Chester, Queen Anne's County, Maryland; married to Magnolia Brown; Son of George Brown born in Talbot County and Anne Walters born in Maryland; buried in Kingsley Cemetery, January 4, 1932; (per death certificate).

Brown, Samuel C., aged sixty three years, died at his home in Chester, Kent Island, early Monday morning [4th]. He had recently suffered a stroke of paralysis. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown, of Talbot County. He is survived by a widow, who before her marriage was a Miss Walters [mother's maiden name is Walters, wife's is Clendaniel]. He also leaves one son, Oscar Brown and a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Brown. Funeral services were held at Kingsley Methodist Episcopal Church and interment was in the cemetery adjoining.
