Austin Ramon Smith, 25, of Indianapolis, Ind., (formerly of Racine) passed away on New Year's Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015. Austin was born in Racine on March 25, 1990, to Ginamarie Griffin and Dwayne Smith.

A graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School, he went on to be employed as a professional forklift operator. However, writing and producing music was truly Austin's life vocation.

Surviving are his mother, Ginamarie Griffin; father, Dwayne Smith; fiancé, Angela Bailey; 10-month old infant twin sons, Jacari Preston Bailey-Smith and Kartier King Bailey Smith; children, Janae, Tyran, Amaya and Malaiah; brothers, Brandon (Amber Pierce) Griffin, Montel Guiden and Cornelius Smith Brown; grandparents, Tom and Karen Lawrence; great-grandfather, Jerome Foley; nieces Sahira and Summer Griffin; nephew, Hunter Cowart; other dear relatives and friends – too numerous to mention all by name.

Austin was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Griffin, Sr.; Mary Anderson-Griffin, Mattie B. Smith and Monroe Harvey; and great grandmother, Helen Foley.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at 6 p.m. in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A reception will follow at Kenosha Commons. Interment will be in West Lawn Memorial Park on Monday .
