Carl was a long time resident of Rhea County. He retired from Suburban Manufacturing Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ada Angel Agee; and brothers, Wiley and Jack Agee.
Survivors include his wife, Inez Dunn Agee; a daughter, Janice (Glenn) Doss also of Dayton; a brother, Wendell Agee of Knoxville; a sister, Ozell Taylor of Pikeville; two grandchildren, Christopher Terrance Doss and Justin Michael Agee.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Reverends Jim Purser and John Neese.
Burial was in Buttram Cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m.
