Mr. Adams was born one of six children on July 13, 1934 in Simpsonville to the late Benjamin Woodfin Adams and Lena Garrett Adams. He worked for many years at Abbey Mills before retiring from J.D. Hollingsworth. He loved to garden and was an avid hunter. He was a member of Mauldin First Baptist Church and a huge fan of baseball and the Atlanta Braves. Paul was very active in the Masonic Order in South Carolina. He was Past Master of Empire Masonic Lodge #213, Past Patron of Empire Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. He was also survived by a son, a daughter, a granddaughter, three step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren, as well as one brother and two sisters, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, precious friends and neighbors, and "adopted" brother and sister Charles and Marilyn Hazel (who both passed away later in 2012, after Paul's passing). He was predeceased by two brothers Don and Virgil Adams.
His smiling face will be missed by his numerous friends and family.
