Mrs. Josephine DeLuca, 213 Smith street, Dupont, passed away last evening at her home. She had been ill since Saturday.
Born in Italy, Mrs. DeLuca had lived in Dupont for the past 50 years and was a member of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston, and the Christian Mothers Society. Surviving are a son, Americus, at home; four daughters, Mrs. George Minzak and Mrs. Frank Swanek, both of Dupont; Mrs. Sam Barbett, Avoca, and Mrs. Joseph Carfora, of Brooklyn, N. Y.; a brother, John Ciampi, and a sister, Mrs. Alphonse Olivier, both of Pittston Twp., 14 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
