In 2008, he was granted a second chance in life when he underwent a bilateral lung transplant. He will be interred alongside his life partner, Keffer T Delino II.
Brent was the owner/operator of two local businesses, Jim's Flower Shop and Classic Designs - Christmas Store. His amazing ability to transform flowers into art set the stage for countless weddings and events, and honored many at their passing. He had an incredible eye and everything was exuberant, elegant and lush. Brent loved Christmas; he was always there to help with the holiday tree trimmings.
He had a passion for clothing, shopping, antiquing and enjoying great food.
He leaves to cherish his memory his four legged "son", Bouvier; sister, Debbie G. Renard of Delcambre; brother, James Presley "Brother" Griffin of Abbeville; aunts, Geraldine "Dean" Frederick and her husband Collins of Abbeville, Genell "Puggie" West and her husband Donald of Lafayette, Joyce McClellan of Lafayette, Melba Adams of Vinton, Wilda Gary of Abbeville, and Lois Campisi and her husband Joe of Abbeville; friends/caregivers, Cebrin Marshall and William "Buddy" Galloway; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
