Katie arrived in the United States (NY) on Sept. 15, 1891. 1st marriage: Johan Henrich Pfeifer. Two sons, August Henry (born 1886) and William Herman (born 1888). 2nd marriage: Anthony John "Anton" Arth, Sept. 15, 1891. One daughter, Marie Theresa Veronica Arth LeClaire (1892-1946). Katie and Anton were divorced in St. Charles County, January, 1900. Anton was a farmer and moved to Lafayette County, Missouri. Katie continued to live the rest of her life in Portage Des Sioux. She took in laundry and was very well like.
