WAYNE EMERY STOUT
Wayne was born to Forest & Irene Stout on May 18, 1924 in Los Angeles. He was the oldest of 5 boys, Elwin, Glen, Melvin and John. He grew up mostly in Madera County and went to school there and some high school there eventually moving with his family to South Gate where he went to So. Gate High School. He received his diploma many years later at Corona High School 1989 being the oldest student graduating that year. He was very proud of that. He enlisted in the United States Navy in Jan. 1943 until Nov. 1945. He was stationed in the Philippines during WWII on PT Base #17. He was a Motor Machinist Mate. After the Navy, he started is life long passion as a Truck Driver following his Grandad and Dad. He drove trucks most of his life until he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Wyvaun; son Don; and brother Melvin. He is survived by his partner, Susan DeMent; his daughters Kennie (Butch), Rhonda (Lonnie), Deni (Denny); Susan's sons Bill, Andy, (Jana); her 4 grandchildren. Wayne had a big family, 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren! Also many, many nieces and nephews, and friends. He loved his family, he had a very contagious personality, loved by everyone, always cracking jokes making people laugh and always happy. He was a very happy person to be around. Wayne was baptized a few months prior to his passing on December 19, 2015 at his home in Corona after a long illness, surrounded by his family. He was anxious to be with the Lord. He lived a full life, a proud man indeed, no more suffering, he's at peace and will be missed by everyone who loved him. WE LOVE YOU, REST IN PEACE... your family. Wayne E. Stout, 91, USN, World War II ~

The family of Wayne Emery Stout has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Wayne was born in Los Angeles on May 18, 1924 and entered into Eternal Rest at home in Corona on December 19, 2015.

Wayne grew up in Madera County but the family moved to South Gate where Wayne attended some high school. Many years later in 1989 Wayne received his High School Diploma from Corona High School being the oldest student graduating that year.

Wayne joined the U.S. Navy proudly serving his country during World War II from January 1943 to November 1945. Wayne was a Motor Machinist Mate Second Class (MoMM2C) stationed in the Philippines on PT Base #17.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Wayne started his life-long passion as a truck driver following his father and grandfather. Wayne drove trucks until he retired.

Wayne is preceded in death by his wife of forty-two years Wyvaun, his son and brother. Wayne is survived by his partner Susan, three daughters and numerous other family members. Wayne was baptized a few months prior to his passing after a long illness, he was anxious to be with the Lord. He had a very contagious personality always cracking jokes and making people laugh.
