Jackson, Ohio - Mrs. Rosa Carter, 92, of Jackson died Tuesday at a Wellston nursing home following a long illness. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson, she was a member of the Jackson Christian Church. She was the widow of William Carter.
Surviving are three sons, Bud and Raymond, both at home, and Clarence of Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Porter of South Webster and Mrs. Hazel Hall of Jackson; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Sperry Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday at the funeral home.
