Henry was born on Oct. 21, 1916, in Wathena to Henry John and Anna M. (Fischer) Kiehnhoff. He was a lifelong resident of Wathena and a farmer all of his life.
He was an active member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Wathena, having held numerous offices and teaching Sunday School. Henry was also very active in the community, having served on the school board for many years, REA Board, ASC Board and numerous other boards.
Henry married Agnes Dombrowe on Sept. 16, 1950, in Wathena. She survives of the home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald; and a brother, Waldo Kiehnhoff.
Additional survivors include four daughters, Carolyn Wallace, Grapevine, Texas, Kathryn Lau, St. Joseph, MO., Nancy Foley, Wathena, and Marcia Stover, Grimes, Iowa; two sons, John and Mark Kiehnhoff, both of Wathena; 16 grandchildren; sister, Anita Brockman, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: Monday, Nov. 14, at Christ Lutheran Church, Wathena, Kan.
Burial: Rosedale Cemetery, south of Wathena.
Arrangements: Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena, Kan.
