Guy J. Folse, age 96, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until religious services on Thursday, Jan. 14 at St. Hilary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Craig Folse and Keith Folse; daughter, Andrea Landry; sisters, Sophia Breaux and Genevieve Acosta; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ouida Folse; parents, Pierre and Anita Matherne Folse; brother, Jules Folse; and sister, Irene Hohensee.
Guy was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
