Christine was born in Kansas City, MO on December 25, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Lynn R. “Bob” and Mary E. Vassar Hupp.
She was a 1976 graduate of Butler High School; she also graduated from the New Castle Beauty School and Butler County Community College. Christine was a Christian and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Charlton, whom she married in Karns City on May 19, 1978. Surviving is a daughter, Charissa Charlton Doyle; two sons Justin Charlton and his wife Amber, and Steven Charlton, all of Butler; a brother, Charles Hupp, of East Butler; a sister, Vicky Butler, of Butler; 13 grandchildren, Steven, Tiffany, Christopher, Jase, Chase, Jonathan, Austin, Logan, Alayna, Emma, as well as three grandchildren in Florida; and a great-grandson, Konnor, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Interment will be Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.
