Obituary for James Kerr

James N. Kerr, age 90, of Flat Rock passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in his home.

Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held in theFuneral Home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Rev. James Williams will officiate the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, South Rockwood, Michigan.

Born on October 1, 1925 in Flat Rock, Michigan, he was the son of Norman and Irlene (Tures) Kerr.

James served in the U.S. Army during WWII as a Medical Aidman.

He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier in the Flat Rock Area for many years until retiring.

James was preceded in death by his parents, brother, George who died in WWII and an infant brother, Walter.

Surviving is his cousin, Carl Youngdahl of Naperville, Illinois.
