Karen Sue Fortney, 25, of Kingwood, died Thursday,Oct. 11, 2001, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday. She was born Sept. 14, 1976, daughter of Willard R. Fortney of Reedsville, and Neoma Jean Sines Fortney, of Tunnelton. She was as assistant manager at the Kingwood Dairy Queen. She is also survived by her companion, Jerry Lee Harris, of Kingwood;two sons,Jerry “Punky” Harris and Tyler Harris,both at home;eight brothers,Everett McGinnis and Danny McGinnis,both of Tunnelton,Mark McGinnis,of Elsie MI,Terry Fortney and David Fortney,both of Baird,TX,Charles Fortney and Bryant Fortney,both of Masontown,and Jason Fortney,of Reedsville,and three sisters,Donna Johnson and Marsha Gribble,both of Tunnelton,and Lisa Fortney,of Reedsville.
